Spring is in the air! Breath deep, open your eyes and get ready for action. And, not to enter too deeply into cliche territory, but… there are also signs of growth and new beginnings in Little Blue House HQ.
We’re once again supplying snacks to the lovely Mrs Brown’s cafe in Victoria Park, Bristol as they’ve just opened again after a well deserved winter rest. We’ve also secured a slot at Clevedon Sunday Market which really looks like it’s going to be worth a visit, every first Sunday of the month during the summer months (if I wasn’t trading I would definitely be there anyway!). Another exciting market slot will be announced soon… shhh. And there will be news of a very lovely new cafe stockist in the near future. Craftisan on Well’s road continue to stock our snacks along with lots of lovely craft and gift items so if you’re in the area pop in and have a look.
This flurry of activity, early in the year, prompted some deep and meaningful thoughts about the direction of Little Blue House and the conclusion has been to make some pretty drastic decisions. Including: renting a commercial kitchen and leaving work to focus full time on making snacks for small people (!!!).
So, farewell workplace pension, holiday pay and job security and hello world of business. You’d better get buying some snacks, people! Eek!
We’re really excited about what the future holds for the business and we’ve got a very busy few months ahead! So, as usual, watch this space!
