Happy new year to you all. I’m not sure about you, but after the excess and craziness of the Christmas period we are strangely happy to be settling back into our normal routines. I’ve stocked our cupboards with healing Pukka teas and we’re working our way back to enjoying simple food, early nights and bracing walks, followed by the worship of our new log burner which we are very lucky to have!
As a family we had a lovely, if rather tiring, Christmas. Plenty of food for all of us, plenty of wine for the grown ups and plenty of presents for everyone! The excess was tempered nicely with some much needed forays into nature and a snatched lie in here and there for those of us that needed it. But now we’re ready to leave some of those excesses behind for a little while and embrace the start of a new year and think about the potential ahead.
There are some plans afoot for Little Blue House and I hope that I will have some exciting announcements for you in the coming months. In the meantime I plan to do some research into my current and potential new ingredients for snacks and share what I learn about them with you. Keep reading!
Wishing you all the best for a healthy, happy 2017 – I hope it’s a good one for all of you.
